For the past two weeks, fourth grade students have been studying Geometry in math. Students had a chance to take part in several hands-on lessons throughout their study of Geometry. During their study of Geometry, students: created lines, segments, rays, and types of lines with spaghetti in order to enhance their knowledge of linear geometry vocabulary, designed a flower made of paper polygons in art, constructed polygons with rubber bands on geo boards, and took part in folding and cutting exercises while learning about symmetry.
